Cross-sector work
Building projects between universities, culture, technology and public space
I develop projects that require different institutions, professional cultures and forms of knowledge to work together. My role is to identify the shared opportunity, translate between technical, artistic and institutional priorities, and help turn available knowledge, spaces and infrastructure into workable public projects.
This work draws on my experience within both a technical university and independent cultural organisations. Depending on the project, I initiate collaborations, co-design formats, coordinate research or production, and work through the institutional conditions required to make the project possible.

Bright Cityscapes: connecting curatorial research with engineering knowledge
Role: Institutional liaison and research facilitator
I connected the FABER curatorial and design team with researchers, laboratories and technological expertise at Politehnica University Timișoara. I helped identify relevant people and research environments and supported the exchange between curatorial questions and engineering practice.
This contribution helped the project engage directly with technological and research processes, rather than approaching engineering and innovation only as visual or historical context.
Researchers: making academic work visible in public space
Role: Academic liaison and research facilitator
For Matei Bejenaru’s Researchers / Cercetători, cercetătoare, I helped identify and connect the artist with researchers from the university community. My contribution supported the project’s engagement with scientific voices within the city.
The resulting intervention brought academic identities and working environments into a public artistic framework.
Facilitating cultural work within university spaces
Roles varied by project: project initiation, production coordination and institutional facilitation
Across projects including 1978, Cabinetul de Curiozități UPT, 100 Years of UPT Campus and Catalyst, I supported collaborations between artists, theatres, researchers and university teams. My contribution involved connecting participants, facilitating access to university spaces and resources, and helping align institutional requirements with production needs.
These collaborations brought performance, installation, institutional memory and public events into university buildings and the UPT Campus. My role was to help make this work possible within the university context and to support the use of academic spaces for cultural production and public engagement.
Why this work matters
Together, these projects form a consistent practice: using institutional knowledge and infrastructure to create encounters that would be difficult to produce within a single sector.
They help universities become more visible as cultural and civic actors, give artists access to specialised knowledge and spaces, and bring technical research into broader public conversations.
I am currently interested in:
- university–culture partnerships;
- artistic uses of technical and academic infrastructure;
- public engagement with research;
- immersive and site-responsive projects in academic and industrial spaces.
I am particularly useful when a project has relevant partners, knowledge or infrastructure, but still lacks a shared format—or someone able to carry it from institutional possibility to public experience.
